Fitbit versa won't update

I am on day two of trying to update my versabi have turned the watch on and off more than 4 times I have taken the watch off the app and re added it I have restarted my phone multiple times It should not be this hard to update please help it gets a third of the way thru a update Wich take about 5 hours then it quits

Are you doing this while the Versa is connected to your wifi? Mine took 10 minutes via wifi.

I would agree with @SunsetRunner. Make sure you go in the app on your phone and link the versa to wifi first. I Also had y versa in the charger right next to the router when I did this. Then I went back to the home page of the app and hit update versa. It updated in 10 minutes or so and is working exceptional now.

It took three days of entering the right password to get it to even connect
to the internet it finally connected and updated after 3 days and two
different devices trying to do it
