For about a week now, the app hasn't connected to my phone. It won't sync and has a notification that says "to sync reliably, let Fitbit connect to your versa 2". I've clicked the notification and it just loads. I let it load for 5 minutes and gave up. I deleted the Fitbit app several times, restarted my phone, restarted the Bluetooth, connected and unconnected it, and nothing will work. The versa is a few years old. Is it time to replace it or is there a way to fix it?

Pretty much getting the same that it takes an eternity to connect to the phone seems to be after the last couple of updates (another one today has not made it any better). obviously trying to get all to leave fitbit.

To better assist you, can you please let us know what phone you have, and what the version of the Fitbit app you have installed?

O versa 2 fica aparecendo a mensagem unlock with your phone. Eu já não possuo esse telefone. Necessito reset o dispositivo.

72.1.23 is the firmware version of the Versa, not the Fitbit app version.
Open the Fitbit app on your phone, tap on your profile icon at the top right, then select Help, the app version will be there.

I'm having the exact same problem but my phone is a Google Pixel 8 Pro. So frustrating!
