My Fitbit keeps vibrating and showing the notifications bar. I cannot use the side buttons to even make it turn off. It’s just constantly rolling through different screens

Hi, are you also not able to perform a Factory reset, either by going to the settings on your Versa, press it, scroll down to device info, press that too and scroll down to factory reset and press it, or by using the three buttons method: press all three buttons together untill you see the Fitbit logo appearing and release only the right lower button. Keep the other two pressed untill you feel a strong vibration, meaning that the FR process has started. After a while, which may take seconds, you will see the Fitbit logo appearing again meaning that your device is restarting. If none of this is possible, contact Customer Support about this issue.

@Drsjms2 Welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm sorry for the late response. However, I'd like to follow up on the issue that your Versa is experiencing since it keeps vibrating.

In addition to the information that shared @SunsetRunner, please have your Versa's battery to drain completely. After this, charge it for 2-3 hours and see if the issue gets fixed.

Keep @SunsetRunner and me posted on the outcome! Smiley Happy

My fitbit is doing the same thing and will not stop.  It started last night while I was sleeping.  It keeps rolling through the notifications and different activities as if I was selecting them.  I did a factory reset and nothing changed.  The side buttons do not respond.

@Hldc0703 thank you for joining us in this thread and our Fitbit Community! Thank you for trying a factory reset before contacting our forums in order to fix the display issues.

I would like you to try another method to factory reset your watch. To do so, open the Settings app > About > Factory Reset or Clear User Data. Please sync your Versa before this in order to avoid losing current data.

Once you've done this, try changing the clock face to one developed by Fitbit and see if the issue gets fixed.

Let me know how it goes! 😀

My Fitbit has begun doing the same. I have gone through all the steps that have been listed in this thread and it is still doing it. My Fitbit is exactly one year old.

What was the fix? Mine has been doing that and then the screen went blank.  Although it’s still vibrating off and on.

Hi @DebRuss86, thank you for joining us in this thread and our Fitbit Community. Since your Versa is still vibrating off and on, I'd like you to try a factory reset. To do so on your device, follow the steps below:

  1. On the device, hold all three buttons for about 10 to 12 seconds.
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears, quickly release the bottom right button, continuing to hold down the left and top right buttons (releasing the bottom right button as soon as the logo disappears is time sensitive).
  3. When the device vibrates, release all buttons.
  4. Wait for approximately 1-2 minutes while the device clears all data. Eventually, the Fitbit logo appears and the device boots and displays Fitbit.com/setup.
  5. Setup your watch from scratch and see if the issue gets fixed

Keep me posted on the outcome.

Hi, my versa 2 began constantly vibrating whilst it was charging. I did a reset 3 times but as soon as it’s back on it starts again. I have also changed the clock face but no joy. Please help it’s driving me mad!

Thanks 😊
