So, I’ve had a Versa 2 for about 10 days. While it initially seemed to be measuring my distance accurately (compared to my prior two smartwatches and my iPhone, suddenly it seems way off. The watch got an update 4-5 days ago and the screen changed for exercises and it constantly says “connecting”. I’m wondering if it’s not accessing my iPhone’s GPS. I’m finding it to be about 0.25 miles short.
Second issue is I sync it with MyFitnessPal and the calorie adjustment is crazy. With my prior watch for 11,000 steps I’d get between 400-500 calories added. With Fitbit I’m lucky if I get 25. It looks to me like the Gitbit app is calculating an adjustment and then MyFitnessPal is as well so instead of raw data and one calculation, deductions are being made twice.
Bottom line is, this is no fun. It’s a distraction and frustration and defeats the competition I create to stimulate my daily routine. I’m days from shipping this thing back to where it came from.
