I am training for the London Marathon and have found on my last few runs that my Versa's GPS connectivity with my phone keeps dropping. It works OK for a while then every now and then it jumps in a straight line on my map between some of my miles. This means that my distance tracking is off because it thinks I have run in a completely straight line and not around the streets I followed.
Is this something anyone else is experiencing?
If so, have you fixed it? How?
Is anyone at FitBit working on this issue?
I love my Versa but lately this has gotten very annoying. Tempted to sell/ trade in and buy a watch with GPS built in.

Hi, Hi, restart your Versa 4-5 times in a row by pressing and holding the left and right lower buttons together untill you see the Fitbit logo and release the buttons. Usually this should solve the problem.

I have tried re-starting it and that did not work, how does doing ti 4-5 times change the GPS connectivity issue? Thank you.

I have other apps that use GPS tracking on my LG G7 ThinQ running Android 8.x and sometimes the Android libraries have GPS acquiring issues. I suspect the issue is with Android and not your FitBit.
Also make sure you have Always Connected enabled in your Android FitBit App. I find that setting prevents Bluetooth LE from disconnecting between the phone GPS and the FitBit.

Thank you for the tips. However I have ''always connected" and ''all-day sync" enabled. Here are some screen shots of today's run to show you what I mean .Can someone from @Fitbit help with this .Feel frustrated as the versa was not cheap.

I am experiencing the exact same problem with my Charge2 and Pixel3. Before the Pixel I had Samsung S7 with the same Charge2 with no issues.
Have you resolved this?

@saraj91 I have the same issue. It's the Fitbit app issue and dropping the Bluetooth connection. At least in my case. Also on Pixel 3. No idea when this might get resolved. You can try downgrading to older version of Fitbit app like version 2.74.2. I kinda gave up on GPS.
PS. I do not work for Fitbit. 😊

My Versa is not even connecting anymore to the pixel 3. Start a workout (usually bike) and it pauses after a few seconds because it is searching for a connection. Doesn't find connection, stays paused for whole workout.
