Good day to each of you.
I have had my Versa 2 for a little more than three weeks now. Although I tend to love it, I find that it frustrates me quite often. I am dealing primarily with two distinct issues:
1) The GPS tracking is off quite significantly. I have two typical running routes which are 5.85 miles and 5.75 miles respectively. Both Google Maps and my vehicle's odometer have confirmed this distance. However, when I log/track the exercise (run) using my Versa 2, the outcome is typically around 4 miles. That's quite the difference!
2) I receive notifications in a wildly inconsistent manner. Some days I do receive text message, WhatsApp message, Gmail, and Facebook Messenger notifications. On other days, I do not. There is no consistency, and I neither mess with the watch nor the app. What is interesting is that I always receive an incoming call notification.
Honestly, I am frustrated. I bought my Versa 2 with the expectation that I would be able to accurately track my fitness and health while also making my life a bit easier by utilizing the notification features (along with other features) which the watch affords. Unfortunately, I don't feel that this is happening.
Could someone please help? I am grateful in advance.

Hello @magringo
Referring to your point 1. Are you taking your phone with you? Versa doesn't have GPS but it connects with your smartphone to make use of GPS signal. Sorry if I stated the obvious but many people don't know that.

Thank you for your reply, @Giampi71 . I do take my phone with me and ensure that the it is in exercise (run) mode and connected to my phone. I also check it periodically to ensure that the GPS icon is showing in the notifications bar. Any ideas about either this issue or the notifications?

I've been having the same issue as you for #1.
I've gone on the same 4 mile route several times. Some days it's exactly correct. Sometimes Fitbit says its ~4.5 miles sometimes it says it's ~3.5 miles. This affects the reported pace too.
I always make sure GPS is connected on my phone. I've even tried two different phones and have the same problem.

It's very frustrating. I am wondering if the moderators or someone at Fitbit could help. It is very frustrating to look at my phone, see the GPS running, but then receive inaccurate information. It makes me wonder what other information is inaccurate (e.g. calorie count, steps, heart score, sleep information, etc.).
Anyone?
Thanks.
