GPS Tracking won't connect-Versa 2

I have a Versa 2 which is less than 6 months old. For Activities such has Bike, Walking, and Hiking, where Connected GPS is turned on for my watch, GPS almost never connects, therefore providing no distance stats and no Auto Pause. I am using this Versa 2 in an area where my Ionic always connected within 5 - 30 seconds. What's the problem with the GPS on my Versa 2?

Hello @grbmds and welcome to the Community.  Your Ionic had built in GPS.  Your Versa 2 has connected GPS ans uses the GPS sensors in your phone.  Here is a link to the Versa 2 manual.  I think you might have missed a setting.

Thanks for your help. I did resolve the problem by doing a chat session with Fitbit. The one thing the Instructions don’t really seem to say is that Access to Location must be set to Always. Setting it to “while in use will not allow the watch to connect to GPS. Once I made that change it worked immediately.
