Why won't it sync regularly and update sleep details? Looking for suggestions.

Hi, which Firmware are you using, .19 or 0.30? This you can find by going to the settings - scroll down to device info - press that ans on top of the screen you will see the current version.

Hi, funny that sleep is not logged accurately, cause that was one of the main issues in .19 version in which it suddenly stopped and never worked again thereafter. In .30 this is, in my case, solved. What you can try to do in order to solve the syncing and sleep problems, is twofold:

1. Fist the most simple one: try to reboot your Versa several times by pressing and holding the left and right lower button together untill you see the Fitbit logo and release the buttons. If that does not solve the problems:

2. Go to your device, switch off BT and deinstall Fitbit app. Restart your phone and once restarted, reinstall Fitbit app again and enable BT. sync with your Versa and see if problems are solved.

Do not hesitate to contact me when these two suggestions do not solve your problems. Good luck.

Hi, go to your Fitbit app, remove and unpair your Versa from this app, restart your phone, see if the Versa is still there, if not, reinstall it like it was the first time you bought it. Good luck.

Still no sleep being recorded. We even did a factory reset and reinstalled it.

Ugh. Thanks again.

Hi, one last option:

1. Go to your Fitbit app, disable BT and WiFi and deinstall Fitbit from your phone

2, Restart your phone and enable WiFi and BT again.

3. Reinstall the Fitbit app again and restart your phone again.

4. Unlog form the Fitbit app and after 1 minute logiin to your Fitbit account

5. Sync it with your Versa and see what happens.

BTW, did you enable within the settings to log the sleep in which you entered your bedtime and waking up time?

Tried it all. So it logs how long I slept but not the details (REM, etc) and it doesn't sync the hours or details to my phone. Craziest thing ever.

Is your Versa still present in the phone's Fitbit app? Maybe you should try to set it up again all over again by going to your Fitbit App, press add device and choose Versa. It will ask you, when you Versa is still present in the app, to install it  instead of the existing device and press yes, the rest you know already. Good luck!

Yes, we did that too. Now when looking for sleep on the watch itself. Sleep doesn't show up under 7 stats to track, under the settings option.

@Momma21  Hi, it sounds you are a bit stuck on the sleep tracking. First: "sleep doesn't show up under 7 stats, under the settings option"...  What do you see under Today>Settings? It should be: "Core stats, Hourly steps, Heart rate, Exercise, Sleep, Water, Food, Weight, Badges.

You also write: "Now when looking for sleep on the watch itself." I didn't understand that sentence as you mentioned also that sleep doesn't show up in Today, so not sure what you mean. Presumably that NOW you don't see any sleep stats at all anywhere, nor on the tracker, nor on the app, nor on the fitbit.com dashboard?  You also wrote : "So it logs how long I slept but not the details (REM, etc) and it doesn't sync the hours or details to my phone."  -- So where do you see this then as it is not on Today, neither on the app??  Lets start with the syncing: do exercises, heartrate data, etc syn properly to your mobile device? If so, if you click on your sleep-tile on the mobile app, what does it say, is it completely empty of data? You can only see sleep stages (like REM, deep sleep) on your mobile and the fitbit.com dashboard, not on the tracker, the tracker just gives some summaries AND ONLY AFTER IT HAS SYNCED WITH THE APP (in reality it is a gimmick on the watch in my opinion). I am a little confused on what you see/not see where. But you should focus on the app/dashboard, not the tracker.

In addition, if ON THE MOBILE DEVICE/FITBIT.COM Dashboard you only get sleep basics and not sleep stages, it is because for that night fitbit could not determine very well your sleep stage, it happens so now and then. If it continues day after day for a long time, then let the community know. There are other threads on specifically that part.

Maybe you can see if you can clarify some of the above first before we can help further.
