One reason I bought Fitbit was considering it's acquired by Google and have integration with Google product like Google maps, Google voice Google pay. This apps integration would highly appreciated to Fitbit. I just got Versa 2 and thinking if I should switch to apple watch.

Will this be ever considered?!

Hi @SunsetRunner , I would advice you to post your Google request in the Feature Suggestions Board, which is especially created  for these kind of proposals. Click the link and on the right side you will see "Make a new suggestion" and type your request there. Regards kuzibri

I would imagine anything like that will not happen in this product cycle to be honest.. Google buying Fitbit may be going ahead but Google wont have control for a while yet as the purchase will have to be vetted and approved by shareholders and governing bodies.  Then on top of that we have no idea what their plans are for Fitbit, they could literally dissolve the company as it is and absorb and integrate their tech and software with their own to improve Wear OS.  On the other hand they could just as easily keep Fitbit going as their watch brand while integrating their OS and chip tech into new wearables.  As it is I doubt very much that they could just go and put google tech directly into current devices as it would likely mean completely rewriting the OS....
