Have lost notifications from Samsung S6

Until a few days ago, I was getting all notifications for email, texts calls etc from my S6 on my Versa.  I have now lost all three. I've seen mention of a software update, might this have caused the problem? Have tried resetting everything to no avail.

Fitbit does not use the standard phones bt drivers, but wires their own drivers.

When an updated app fails to perform correctly,  the first step I do is remove the app., then restart the phone to clear memory (android still has memory management problems) then I loss a fresh copy of the app.

Also by installing a fresh copy of the app,  the user is forced to approve ant needed permissions,  and occasionally they get revoked with phone or app updates, which might have been the issue.

Glad that it is now working

Yes, Thanks for suggestion but I switch notifications on and off overnight anyway. I think I have solved the problem by deleting the software on the phone and then reloading.  Seems to work better than just updating. Not easy to test every function alone but I appear to be getting emails and texts again.
