Heart rate reader not working since last update

Hello,

 

as the title suggests my heart rate reader has stopped working since the last update. I have tried restarting my Fitbit versa and turning the heart rate function on and off. Neither has helped. Has anyone else had this same problem or know how to fix it?

Following.  I have reset my versa a few times already to attempt to fix this, the heart rate monitor periodically stops working or or freezes on some number even though I am engaged in something physical.  This started this week so it might be related to the update??
