My versa has stopped tracking my heart rate - why? It’s been fine up until a couple of days ago and now nothing 🙁

Hi @VHenderson Is there still a green light flickering rapidly on the back of the watch?. Check the settings app on the watch to see that HR is still turned on.

Hi Nelly,

Thank you - yes I’ve looked and heart rate is on in my settings... it seems to be a bit hit and miss as I had a flickering green light earlier and my heart rate appeared but then it went off? What does the green light indicate?

Also, you seem very knowledgable with the versa so can I ask you about the sleep recording too please? It doesn’t seem to have logged the last few nights fully and if I get up in the night it only seems to do the bit when I go back to bed, or nothing at all - how can I ensure it’s recording or how can I ensure it pieces it all together for the night, instead of just noting one part of it?

Thanks
Victoria

The green light is the heart rate monitor. It sends out green and red light and then measures the light that is reflected back and can tell how fast your heart is beating by the changes in the colour of the reflected light. Im sure that isnt a technically correct explanation, but its about the limit of my knowledge 🤣

If your heart rate is not being measured then sleep wont be recorded correctly either, as sleep detection depends on the heart rate being measured.

Try turning heart rate to OFF in the settings app on your watch and then restart the Versa sevefal times. Then go back to the settings app and turn Heat rate on again. If it is still not working then please come back here again.
