Fit bit versa has been acting up. The past few days the screen was shaking and kept doing things on its own. Last night I was unable to use the touch screen and this morning I woke up to a black screen. I could tell it was still on because it was lit but it’s just a black screen. I tried to reset and it shut off but now I can’t get it to do anything at all. Any thoughts?

Hey Claireann,
Be sure you hold down that left button long enough for to turn on. I think it's like five or six seconds.
If nothing, I'd try a factory reset. Everything will get resynced when you re-configure your Fitbit. You'll have to set up any form of payment that you had set up in the watch though.
My only caution with the hard reset, is that it's very sensitive; you have to let the lower right button go exactly when the Fitbit logo disappears.
Fitbit's factory reset steps:
[1. Hold all 3 buttons for about 15 seconds, until the Fitbit logo appears.
2. When the Fitbit logo disappears, release the Bottom Right button, but continue holding the Left and Top Right button until you feel a strong vibration. This indicates the factory reset was initiated. This process may take several seconds, and eventually, the static logo will appear and the device will boot the image on the factory slot (Says go to Fitbit.com/setup). If you fail to release the Bottom Right button in time, or otherwise don't follow the procedure, the static logo will reappear quickly and boot without factory reset.]
If you have trouble getting the hard reset to engage, you may want to go through the steps and count how long the logo stays on the screen before disappearing. Then repeat the steps and let the lower button go when that number of seconds has passed. Hard reset works, it's just insanely sensitive on some devices apparently.
