I've decided to buy a Fitbit versa tomorrow but I have a Alcatel v3 and the Fitbit is os 5.0 and the Alcatel is 8.0 does this mean that the Fitbit will work with my devise

@JMorris1866 you can search this forum if anyone posted anything about compatibility. I do not see it on the compatible devices list, but it doesn't mean it won't work. It simply means it hasn't been tested by Fitbit and not all features may work as designed. You can always test it within the return period, just double check your retailer's return policy.

Great I've got it today and I'm trying to set it up on my and I'm getting to the updating part and it taking ages and still not going any further

@JMorris1866 Just restart the whole process - close fitbit app, reboot your phone and reboot Versa by pressing and holding the left and bottom right buttons until fitbit logo flashes. When Versa displays the setup screen, place it in the charging dock and make sure both devices (your phone and the tracker) are near the router. If performed via wifi, Versa needs strong signal. Now open Fitbit app, and set up Versa by adding it as a new device. Follow instructions on the screen.
