I recently brought the Versa 2, after having a charge 2 for a couple of years it was time to upgrade. But my dilemma is when I walk I push a pram and fitbit doesn’t count the steps then, so for my charge 2 I got an ankle band and that worked fine. The versa 2 is an issue as the bands are really tough to take off and put on, in fact just from the one time I can see damage to the band which I’m obviously very unhappy about.
So I was thinking maybe I can use my charge 2 for my pram walks - is that something that would work and how would it work if it did?
Two devices on one account and I have to wear both or would I be able to just wear the charge additionally and it would sync the extra steps to the days total?

Hi @Jo_pramwalker - I agree. It is too difficult to change bands on your Versa 2. It might be easier to simply place the Versa 2 in a side pocket or in a cross body purse when you push the pram. Or place it in your sock. That’s what I do when pushing a shopping cart.
It looks like it is possible to have both your charge 2 and your Versa 2 on your account. The process is somewhat complicated but here is what you would have to do. You need to wear them one at a time, syncing before each switch. My starting point is the Versa 2 on your wrist.
Like I said, it’s much easier to stick to just the Versa 2 while being creative regarding placement. Please let us know if this helps. Happy walking! The weather is getting nicer, at least here in Michigan.
