Here we go again. Another update sync failure

After initial period of repeated issues and a few returns, things settled last year with my Versa.

After resigning my life to spend an hour or so deleting and resetting everything every time FITBIT send out an update, even that resolved recently.

HOWEVER, with version 2.9x, the gremlins have returned and with 2.93, sync stopped altogether last Wed (15th).

Now I cannot even re-pair the versa!

I have had to take the following actions (at increasing levels and then all, giving up on my lost data)

- Fitbit app: Force stop. Clear cache, clear data. Uninstall.

- Phone: `Forget` Versa in bluetooth settings. Clear cached data, Restart

- Versa: Force restart (right and bottom left buttons for 5-7 secs until restart) 3 times.

- Fitbit app: re-install. Login. `Set up a device`. Select Versa.

- Versa: Put watch on charger (it is actually at 97% anyway)

-Fitbit app: Allow location access. FITBIT FOUND. 4 digit pairing code entered.

Finally up and running again!

It really shouldn`t be like this!!

@Digit01 Thanks for posting it. I have waited myself with the update so I guess I will wait more. Can you roll back, i.e. are you on Android?

I had the same exact problem this week.... but mine never resolved it self.... going through battery in less than 24 hrs and having horizontal and vertical lines flashing on the screen... I finally call customer service and they were awesome... they had me send pictures of the lines and they decided to send me a new one....  I am scared to death to do the update on my husbands.

Best of luck everyone

I've done all this - worked yesterday and now today back to square one - uninstall....reinstall...reboot....on/off.  Last time for me and this product.
