Hourly Activity

I have had Fitbit trackers since 2016 and never ever has my hourly activity changed it's time by itself until this morning. No matter how many times I change it back it automatically goes back to 5am -12pm. I have never had so many problems since Fitbit went to Google. I have spent a lot of money on the Fitbit trackers. I thought I would upgrade to a Versa 3 and I thought, wow this is a good tracker. However, nothing good ever lasts for very long with Fitbit! Something always screws up.  At my age, one can only put up with so much. As I get older my patience with things that don't work properly have been thrown away! So, maybe it's time to throw all my Fitbit trackers in the garbage too!

@DebTaylor Curious what phone you have & if you tried turning off the auto time zone feature & selected your time zone manually? In the past I had probs w/the time which I was able to resolve after doing this.

I am having the exact same issue and agree with everything above. Fitbit is the only thing I gave every used. Google has messed up everything from our watches to the app. I have gone in and did troubleshooting to resolve all the issues and nothing. Please figure out a fix quickly. There are too many other products out there to choose from.

I have a Sense, but I have the exact same problem.  I seriously empathize with your experience, because I’ve been doing the same thing since 2014, and have upgraded all the way to the first Sense.  I am also getting older too, and have just about run out of patience with Fitbit.  My husband switched to Apple Watch, and I am starting to seriously consider this too.  But I would prefer to just fix this problem for now!  I’m following this thread, hoping someone will give a good answer so we can fix this.  I already had a problem earlier this week with my sleep score that never was fixed.  I am also pretty suspicious that it cheated me out of an hour of sleep last night due to the time change.  One more straw is going to probably break this camel’s back!

@TigerLairand others.  If you live in the US and just returned to standard time, then this is the reason.  Fitbit has never handled this clock change well.  This is my twenty-first Fitbit time change (standard to DST and vice versa) and it seems to happen every time.  There's nothing you can do to fix today's behavior and it should all be fine tomorrow.

I am in Canada and have had Fitbit since they came out. We just changed to DST but I have never had this problem before. My hourly steps changed to 3 am-12 pm and I cannot change it back. I signed out, rebooted the app and signed back in on my ipad. Still no go. But now, I can’t even sign in on my iPhone. It just keeps thinking and thinking

Had this problem too. Yes, it seems something goes wrong when you fall back or spring forward. Finally, got it to work by going to my Dashboard online. Now my issue is the app opens, but freezes and I can’t navigate anywhere🙄

I feel exactly the same! Fitbit user since 2016 & this program update has been the worst. Now, w the time change, everything has gone wacko & no matter where I change the numbers (You, Goals, See All), my activities will begin at 3:00 AM

THANKS FITBIT BUT NO THANKS

Thank you. I have an iPhone 14 Pro. I just went and did what you suggested
and it worked. I have never had a problem before.

I woke up this morning and it had indeed fixed itself for yesterday.  It gave me credit for all 9 hours of activity too.  Of course, it did not give me back my extra hour of sleep the night before, but I’m not surprised —the time change has always messed up my sleep score.  That is the first time it did this crazy trick with my hourly activity though. I guess Fitbit likes to keep me on my toes… 🙄
