My Fitbit Versa says that I have completed 7 of 9 hours of activity today, but in the Fitbit app it says that I’ve missed all but one of each hourly activity goal. It also won’t track my active hours in the app.
I have tried restarting my Fitbit, deleting and redownloading the app, logging out and logging back in, manually syncing my Fitbit, turning Bluetooth off and on, etc. I’ve tried everything and it’s not syncing in app.

I'm encountering the same issue. The App and the internet dashboard show I was active for 2 hours out of 10 hours today; however, my Versa watch reports I was active 9 hours out of 10 hours. I've reset the watch several times throughout the day and even shutdown the watch this evening. It still isn't syncing!

I’m having the same problem - my phone (Samsung Note 😎 stopped syncing hourly activity yesterday afternoon and continues to not sync hourly activity today. My Versa shows 9 out of 9 hours but the phone shows 0 out of 9 hours. I logged over 20k steps today but active minutes is 0, while calories is 1,403 (should be around 3,000). The steps, floors, miles, and daily exercise goals have synced correctly. This problem occurred once before, in December 2018, and was corrected by logging out of the app then logging back in, but this hasn’t helped this time around.

I’m having the same issues. My phone last synced properly on Sunday. The calories burned, activity time, Heart rate and hourly steps either do not record at all or is not accurate. Does anyone know if there was a software upgrade? I emailed the company, but haven’t gotten a response as of yet. It’s been 24hrs now.

NOLA, I searched through the forums and found lots of advice coming from several moderators, especially Marrrmaduke (spelling might be off). The first is to reboot your Versa and the other is to make sure the Fitbit app on the phone is locked into foreground. I wasn’t too sure about this one but once I rebooted the Versa everything started working again this morning. I had this problem back in December and just be logging out of the Fitbit app and logging back in fixed the problem then. It didn’t work this time.
As for the heart rate issue, mine has never been that acurate but I read that you should have the strap pretty snug for those probes to function properly.
It seems like a lot of people having similar problems but there is help available.
Good luck.

Rebooting and following all the recommendations didn't solve my issue. I even talked with customer service and they can see the gap in my activity (about 8 hours) on the dashboard.

So what did they say to do? It’s driving me crazy. That it isn’t syncing my activity. How do you talk to someone in customer service?

I am having all of these issues as well. I've uninstalled the app, reinstalled it, restarted the fitbit, disconnected Bluetooth. I've done everything in all different types of orders and still the hourly activity on my fitbit doesn't match what is syncing with the app. I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S9 OS version 9 and my Versa firmware version is 32.33.1.30 which I believe are all up to date. This seems to have been an issue for people for almost a year now and Fitbit is aware of the issue with no resolution in sight. What are we to do with all this inaccurate data? So frustrating!

I am having the same error with the hourly tracker as the rest of the members on this forum. My fit bit Versa lte shows I walked 9 out of 9 hours, while the app says I have only walked 7 out of 9 ours. I have tried restarting my watch, then my phone. It is frustrating to have been so happy with this product to become frustrated. It draws concerns to the product over all quality while seeing issues such as this over various aspects of the fit bit Versa lte.

I’ve done everything in every possible sequence and this non syncing of hourly activity, calories burned, and minutes active is incredibly frustrating. It seems intermittent and has been a very frequent issue over the last several weeks. This is horrible!

I have had problems with getting my versa to sync with my phone. It won't sync manually and when it does sync automatically, it doesn't do it for long. I can't track anything and have it show on the app. This started during the first half of this month after I downloaded the update on the 7th. Beyond frustrated but still love my fitbit.

I'm having this same issue. It started last week by just giving up on tracking my sleep. It started up again, but today it stopped calculating calories and syncing the hourly steps to the app. Calories are definitely way off and while my Versa says I've walked enough steps every hour, it won't reflect it in the app.
Restarted everything about four times before it appears to have synced *only* the last hour of activity, despite the Versa reflecting more activity.

I’m having this issue too since today. My versa says 9 out of nine and the app says 7 out of nine. Have re-installed app and restarted versa. Not helping 😔
All my other info does sync and is the same in app and versa.
Btw I just noticed there was an app update today, maybe something went wrong there as didn’t have this problem before? It doesn’t say what was updated only that some problems were solved....

I agree, this is terrible. From what I can gather, this has been happening for years and years, and there are no solutions.
Fitbit moderators, tell your techs to just add the ability to ADD steps to our active hours so it can match on our app. Right now, I've done all my step goals for today and NONE are showing on the app. This could be an easy fix if I could go into the app and select the hour that I had 250 steps on. I really don't see any downside to this. If it takes years to fix this problem, how about a temporary fix letting the user manually add the step goals???
