Hourly activity showing discrepancies between watch and app.

I charged my device last night after which I noticed tonight that the heart rate wasn't being monitored and while the watch showed I had 12 of 12 hours with activity, the app on my Android shows no activity for 12 hours. So I turned the watch off and back on and now heart rate works but activity on the Android app still shows nothing. Why would that app show no activity when the watch does and why would it quit working just because I charged it?

Could this be what is affecting my log too? Today I have two activities that are on my weekly exercise tile but have not synced into my total calories burnt.

Hello @Willow66, have a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board. Smiley Happy

I appreciate you have joined the conversation and let us know aobut this situation. At this moment, if you're not able to see the activities on the Exercise Tile, please go to the Activities Section of the online Dashboard. If the exercises are showing here, that means the app has not udpated the information correctly, in which case I would like to suggest you the following:

  • Force-quit the app and open it again. If this doesn't work:
  • Log out from the app, restart your phne and log back in.

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and let us know the outcome.

How does one get the app to recover the hours of activity from Monday the 10th which it lost?

UPDATE:

Still waiting for a fix.  Had almost the same problem two days ago but this time without putting the watch on charge first.  It stopped monitoring heart rate, so I restarted it, fixing the heart rate monitoring, but the active hours are nowhere to be found.

Thanks for the reply, I guess.  Though honestly, I can't imagine what takes so long to resolve the issue.  After all, it is designed by humans so it is not as if there are unknowns.
