Here's how i got it to work on my Mac.
1) install the Fitbit Mac file.
2) Register your username.
3) connect both your fitbit versa and mac to the same wifi network. (my bluetooth on mac was turned off)
Step by step connecting:
1) select the"Manage My Music" box
2) You should be seeing - Getting Started
Initiate Transfer mode
3) Then and only then you should go to your fitbit versa
- select music app
- tap the "transfer music" button
4) give it at least few seconds - (your fitbit versa should be displaying "connecting)
5) when it is connected
- your fitbit versa will display "End Now" button
- your mac fitbit software will display the playlists feature that you can add, drag drop mp3)
6) after you created your playlist, then drag and drop the files.
to transfer, click on the circle on the right of your created playlist
p/s: you need a bluetooth speaker/ headphones to listen to your music.
