How do I connect the Versa 3 Controls?

When I first set up my Versa 3, it had me install Versa app controls (or a similar name). I accidentally unpaired it from my Bluetooth and now cannot figure out how to set it up again. I haven't been able to sync my Versa to my Android phone since this happened. How do I get the Versa app controls installed again?

Hi there, @Amharden1987. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Versa 3.

I've seen that you chatted with our Support Team regarding this matter. If you still need help, please feel free to chat with us online again or give us a call. Click here to get connected.

You can also try the following if you haven't done so yet:

  1. From the Today tab in the Fitbit app on your phone, tap your profile picture > your device image > On-Wrist Calls >Start Setup.
    • If you're unable to start the on-wrist call setup, open the Settings app on your watch Vibration & Audio. In the On-wrist calls section, tap Versa 3 Controls, and then proceed to the next step.
  2. On your phone, tap Settings Bluetooth. Your phone scans for available devices.
  3. When you see Versa 3 Controls as an available device, tap it. A number appears on your phone screen.
  4. When the same number appears on your watch, tap Pair.
  5. Return to the Fitbit app on your phone. Tap Done to complete setup.

Hope that helps.

This happened to me too. Versa 3 was showing up in the bluetooth devices on my phone, but not Versa 3 Controls. To fix this, go to the watch, Settings, Vibration & Audio, then Music Controls. You should see Versa 3 Controls, and whether or not it's paired. With me, it said "paired", but I unpaired it, and re-paired it again. I could then connect to Versa 3 Controls on my phone, ...but... I'm still having trouble getting the watch to answer calls...

I'm having the same issue.

I get to step 3 and nothing happens when I tap the Versa 3 controls -- no code, no nothing. And yes, I have put my Versa 3 in discovery mode, and my phone sees it. Just nothing happens after that.

I have force-quit the Fitbit app and reset my Versa 3 to factory settings, turned my phone off, and tried again -- several times --to no avail.
