How do I remove device lock?

I tried adding a card in wallet.  Not only is it not accepted, but the link to supposedly send you to a list of supported banks just takes you to a bunch of articles that do not list any supported banks.

Anyways, sucks I can't use one of the biggest features I got this for. Really thinking about returning and getting galaxy watch.

I go back to remove device lock, can't. Only two settings so I chose pay app lock only. But I'm getting the pin prompt anyways despite not using pay.

This watch seems very buggy for a 3rd gen. Very dissatisfied so far.

Hi @Gabe8 - in the Fitbit App, click profile photo, Help & support, Contact Customer support. They will be more than happy to help sort out your various issues with setting your watch and ironing all your issues. Otherwise you can waste much time getting things sorted and that can be really frustrating.

Hello @Gabe8

In this case if you have Fitbit Pay set up then the device lock is forced to be on. If you want to turn it off then you'd need to turn off Fitbit Pay. If you already have turned Fitbit Pay off, then I'd recommend that you try logging out of the app and then logging back in so that it reload and shows all details correctly.

😉 Hopefully that does the trick

How do you turn off Fitbit pay. That's the problem.

@Gabe8  Do you still have the card you were trying to set up in the wallet? If so remove the card. Then go to device lock and choose pay app only (since you don’t plan on using it it should never prompt you) if your still getting the pin prompt. Your getting a prompt because if you set up Fitbit Pay, the device lock is turned on automatically and you’re prompted to set a code. So after you select pay app only in device lock and you still get a pin prompt then (as I said above) I'd recommend that you try logging out of the app and then logging back in so that it reload and shows all details correctly.

In my post I say they did not accept my card so I never got to add one.
Still can't turn device lock off. I kinda hate this thing.

Let’s try another route @Gabe8

Tap the dashboard button at the top of your screen then tap the gear icon to the upper right of your screen and tap Versa 3 in the drop down menu. Now scroll down to the bottom of the Versa 3 information and tap “deactivate Fitbit pay” then tap submit. Sync your Fitbit to accept the changes.
