How do I stop text previews on Versa 2

Hi. I can’t seem to receive text notifications from my iPhone XS Max to Versa 2 without the whole text showing on phone a Versa. Does anyone know how to rectify this. Due to my job, my texts are confidential so I now have to have my phone face down as it previews the message. I would like to receive notifications but not view the entire message. How can I change this. I searched articles and help forums but have found no solution. This never happened with my Charge 2, it just said who had text. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Hi, thank you for replying. Yes, I have read all the help guides etc. I am receiving notifications no problem. I would just like to know how to stop the whole message showing on my phone and Fitbit and just have the notification with who the text is from and nothing else.

Check the settings in your messaging app. I was responding to @Grapes18 who said that they whereot able to get massages.
