How do I track Horseback Riding with my Versa 2?

I wish Fitbit had an option for horseback riding. I can’t start a workout with my gps on when I go for a ride because my cardio fitness score would be way off. It would basically think it’s me running all these miles with a bpm of 167, but really I am on the back of a horse. When I ride the watch auto recognizes it as a walk. This again throws off my steps because I wasn’t actually walking.

Hi there, @Lauren55. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post. I understand how important is for you to properly track your Horseback Riding activity.

While this exercise is not included in the Exercise app on your Versa 2, you can manually log a Horseback riding activity. Manually logging an activity works well for those activities where step count isn't the best indicator of the calories burned. If you are doing an activity that does not require steps (like horseback riding), or an activity that requires more than just steps (like tennis or yoga), you can use the activity log to improve the accuracy of this activity's contribution to your caloric burn. For more information, see How do I manually log exercises in the Fitbit app?
