How do I track a walk with my Versa?

Ok, i will try and keep this short.

I have only had the versa for a week now and have noted the following issues, some may be user error and i am happy for anyone to point this out

- in the activities section i dont see an option for 'walk', can see run etc but not walk - is this meant to be there or have i been told the wrong thing?

- i am moving from treadmill to street running and checking distance calculates correctly, 5k treadmill shows 4.3k (ish) on versa, 5k on versa is 5.7k on treadmill - what am i doing wrong, i think it may be down to stride length im not sure.

- when i attempt to set a run the connected gps just keeps connecting and connecting, it does eventually connect but then disconnects again

Any advice that you may have would be appreciated

- Open the fitbit app on your phone. From the main dashboard, click the versa icon (top right). Then scroll down and look for "Exercise shortcuts" From there, you can delete activities you may not use and then add (plus icon top right) walking.

-Treadmill VS outside running has always been trouble. You have to tweak stride length in fitbit as we tend to run differently on treadmills than we do on actual ground. Not the best solution, but it's been talked about a lot as the problems runners get going back and forth

- I have done connected runs, so I can't really help too much on this one. But reboot the phone, reboot the fitbit... I like to make sure that i've disconnected wifi so that your phone doesnt try to connect while out there...

Thank you for your guidance...adding "Walk" to the list of 'Exercise Short Cuts' worked beautifully, perfect your step-by-step how to. 😊👍🏾
