Hi!
I have a calorie deficit question.
In my Account - Goals I can choose Nutrition and Body goals and then Food.
Let's for example have a look at the setting Medium - 1kg/week, 500 calorie deficit.
Usually 1kg (or 2lbs) is counted for as 7000 calories. The 500/day calorie deficit would make up 3500 calories per week, which equals 0,5 kg (or 1lb).
So are the fitbit settings wrong or am I missing something here?

Hi, @Kaktusen, which app are you using? I just checked on my iOS and 500 calorie deficit (medium) corresponds to 1 POUND a week, not 1 KILOGRAM

Hi Julia! I'm using the fitbit app. I just noticed when I change to lbs I get the same as you 1lb/week. So the app must be wrong since 1 kg and 1 lb is not the same..

Hi, @Kaktusen, I really meant which version of the Fitbit app you were using (iOS, Android, Windows), but yes, the confusion between metric and imperial in some parts of some versions of the app has been going on for years!
If you tell me which version you are using I can have a look, check it, and flag this up to Fitbit. It really shouldn't happen!
