I have been setting up my new Versa for almost 18 hours now. Is this normal for it to take so long to set up? This is very frustrating. My other Fitbit set up was no where near this long.

No that's not normal, but I do share your aggravation. I had to set mine up as a new device just now several times due to syncing issues.
Normally I would say that you should just try again later, but since you've been trying for so long, I would just go ahead and contact Support.

Hi, this is absolutely not normal. Setting up a Fitbit device requires 45 to 60 minutes, which IMHO, is already ridiculous long, but had it with all my Fitbit Devices. Did you follow all the advised procedures? I would advice the following:
1. Put your Versa in the Charging dock
2. Connect it to your laptop
3. If you already have an account, log in and go to fitbit.com/setup and choose Versa
4. Install the Versa on your laptop (remember to have Bluetooth on on your laptop!!)
5. After that, go to your Smartphone, swith on Bluetooth and start the Fitbit app.
6. Make sure your Versa's BT settings are on pairing
7. Tell your Fitbit app to setup a new device, e.g. the Versa, and it will start searching it. In most cases it will find your watch directly and a four digital number appears on your Versa's screen. Enter that on your Smartphone and you're done.
kindest regards, kuzibri
