How to Get Notifications on Versa and How to Track Activities

Hey...just got a versa lite yesterday and am trying to figure stuff out. I'm not getting text or phone notifications on the device and cant figure out how to set that up.

And...wondering which setting I should use for aerobic activity like High Fitness, Zumba or hip hop. Has anyone tried different settings to see what is most accurate when it comes to calories?

Welcome to the Forums @Bevany.

I will be moving this thread to the Versa board as I think it is better suited for it. I'll be happy to help you with  the notifications and the tracking of workouts.

As for setting up notifications, you need to follow the steps listed in this help article. They will help you get the notifications working as intended.

As for tracking those details, the Fitbit can automatically track aerobic workouts by sensing the movement. Alternatively you can use the workout option on your Fitbit device. To manually start syncing you can follow these steps:

  1. On your device, open the Exercise app.
  2. Swipe to find the exercise type.
  3. Tap the exercise to select it.
  4. Tap the play icon to start the exercise.
  5. Tap the middle of the screen to scroll through your real-time stats. Your progress toward your maximum heart rate is shown on an indicator next to your beats per minute.
  6. To pause or end your workout, tap the pause icon. To resume, tap the play button.
  7. To end the workout, tap the flag icon and confirm.
  8. Review your workout summary and exit the app.

You can read more about how the devices track activities in this help article.

Let me know if you have any further questions.
