How to disable automatic pause

Please, can someone help me. I'm about to throw that device in the trash. It goes on all the time into automatic pause mode during my workout in the gym. Using 'weights' mode, boot camp, circuit, training etc. I've tried all the modes, and it always goes on automatic pause. I just have to stop to do some leg exercise, or if there isn't much movement. However, now even running on the treadmill or with a high heart rate (I do many circuits) he goes on automatic pause. The only type of exercise I found that can disable this crap (automatic pause) is running, but I rarely run, I usually do integrated exercises and weight training. This problem has occurred before, but since the last update has gotten much worse (in fact, everything has gotten worse since the last update, the device has become slower). I have already formatted and returned to the factory settings, but it continues to automatically pause. What do I do? My desire is to throw it in the trash and buy another brand. But if there is a solution, I stay with it. My device is the FIT BIT versa 2.

Depending on which type of workout category you are using, after you tap the exercise shortcut but before starting it, tap the gear settings icon at top right; see if it lists auto-pause as an option you can turn off.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
