How to remove new quick settings drop down on notifications?

Hey,

 

Since upgrading to the latest FitBit Versa version there is a 'quick settings' drop down that hides a third of the watch screen when I pull down to see my notifications. Every. Single. Time.

 

How do I remove this??

You can wait 2 seconds and it will go away, or you can swipe up on just the top of the screen.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

I understand this, but I am looking for a way to permanently remove this from showing up!

i am looking for a permanent solution for this as well, all it does is cover the notifications i am actually trying to see. its very frustrating and actaully a step backwards, even when turning it off in the fitbit app it still shows up on my watch.

@pierrelbour  @Wickjenn   Please vote for this Feature Suggestion and leave a comment.  I, too, had a, "What in the world was Fitbit thinking?" moment with this part of the firmware upgrade.
