How to replace Versa Watch Face from installing without code

My husband started to choose another watch face for his Versa Classic; however, when he chose one to look at, he realized he didn't want it, but can't get out of it without entering the code.  If he puts the code in, he has to pay for it & he didn't want to do that! Now what?

He should be able to just choose a different clock from the app and install it. It will replace the current one and thereby remove the need for a code.
