After charging my Versa, the time is three hours off. How do I reset the time?

This happened to me earlier. But I couldn't sync it to my phone to resolve the issue and every time I pressed one of the buttons on the side of the versa it just turned off and on again and got stuck in this loop until it bricked itself. Hope yours isn't going that way...
