How to stop Versa 2 screen auto waking with notification

As the title suggests, my Versa 2 screen automatically wakes as soon as I get a notification, even if it's dead still. Can I turn this off so that the screen doesn't wake with the notification details until I turn my wrist?

My current screen wake settings are set to Auto (motion)aand would like to keep that, I don't want manual (button)

Swipe left to settings and then Do Not Disturb and set to your liking.

Thanks but that's not what I'm after. I don't want to silence notifications

It use to be the way you wanted it, but users complained and Fitbit changed it without adding an option to disable.

Really? That's so ridiculous. Like I want people in a meeting seeing my watch light up constantly and being able to read my notifications 😞

I very much doubt that the guy across the table will be able to read the message.
