How to switch between MobileTrack and Watch tracking?

How do you switch to mobile track when you can't wear your watch? All of the instructions online just show you how to set it up, but once it's set up it doesn't say how to switch it from your watch to mobile track.

I have mobile track linked to my phone, but when I go to my account settings and select it from the list of devices in my account it just has "sync now" in grey (can't click) and "remove from account." I don't want to remove my versa from the linked devices because I still use it 95% of the time, I just occasionally can't wear it or forget it.

Hello @lisamillerd I hope you're doing well, it's nice to see you around the Fitbit Community.

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and for sharing your question with us. Please note that when you set up MobileTrack, this will be active at all times. The difference is that when you use your Fitbit device, after you sync it, the information from the device will override the information tracked by MobileTrack.

When you're not wearing your Versa, MobileTrack is already working and counting your steps. When you open the app in your phone, MobileTrack data automatically syncs with the app. You can learn more about how MobileTrack works on this article: How do I use MobileTrack?

Thanks again for your participation in the Forums, if there's anything else we can do for you, please feel free to reply.
