How to.turn off Look Alive notifications

I got a new Versa yesterday. I set up all silent alarms yesterday but today I'm getting Look Alive notifications every few minutes after. It's really distracting at work. I've searched through here and see many others with the same problems bit no solution offered except turn off the alarms. These alarms tell me to take my meds to keep me alive.. Most of those posts are from last year, so I'm hoping there's a solution now. Any ideas? TIA

Accepted Solutions

Try tapping the bottom right corner of the screen where the big check mark is with an arc around it.  And it's actually easier to do than button press.  It took me a while to figure that out though.

Set an alarm to go off in a minute or 2 and try that.

I'm guessing what you are getting is the snooze alarm.  It goes off 9 minutes after the original alarm if it is not acknowledged.  I acknowledge mine by tapping the bottom right corner of the screen.

How do I dismiss an alarm on my Fitbit device?

Your device vibrates and flashes when a silent alarm goes off. This notification repeats several times or until dismissed. If you don't dismiss an alarm, it repeats in 9 minutes.

The alarm on most Fitbit devices turns off when you walk 50 steps.

You can also press the button on your device to dismiss an alarm. For Fitbit Ace, Fitbit Alta, Fitbit Alta HR, and Fitbit Flex 2, double-tap the tracker to dismiss an alarm.

Great. Thanks.

Is there a way to disable the reminders permanently?

I don't think there is any way to tun off the snooze, other than acknowledging the original alarm, or removing the alarm completely

And the problem is I am dismissing the snooze with the upper button on the right side of the watch, but they keep coming...

I also have this alarm going off and I don't have any alarms set up. Therefore I have no way of turning this off. I looked at the Alexa side of it as well as and the alarm setting on the fit bit itself as well as the alarms on my phone and I have no alarm set for 1:00 a.m. but yet I get this every single night. I want to know why I haven't on my phone and I went and O how the heck to get off. It's waking up every  Knight during the middle of the night. I have a Versa2.

Same issue here but mine is at 11:30 p.m.

and the only thing I see is “turn off alarm” well duh, there is no alarm set on the 3 things the watch is synced to. Nothing on the watch and to top of off I never even set ANY alarm on this watch, let alone, would I set one for 11:30 at night. I’m about to do a factory reset, delete and reinstall the apps. But I’m  hesitant because I never set an alarm in the first place. So I might end with a phantom alarm but at 2am... Not very happy or impressed with this Fitbit..

not to mention that has got to be the most ignorant way to cancel an alarm, find the device you set it on and delete it there .... REALLY??? So what if it was set on a phone you got rid of? Any and all alarms should just set ON the watch when synced period.

Not sure just what device you set the alarm from? Well just search them all, hopefully you’ll find it, after all why WOULD you want to be able to turn OFF an alarm on the actual device it’s set on, that’s just plain crazy...

Found a way how to turn of the alarm, I had mine set up to press the button if ever I want to talk to Alexa, so when press to talk to Alexa, notice on the top right there is a clock income click that from there you'll be able to see where turn of the alarm.

@Fabrienne  That would be showing the alarms you have set up through Alexa.  They are stored separately from the alarms set directly through Fitbit.

I finally figured it out! I had to go to the Alexa app on my watch. Tap the clock in the upper right corner. Three icons should show. The first one is alarms. Make sure that is turned off.

Turn off smart wake on your alarms on your fitbit I have been trying to figure this out for months and I feel completely ridiculous after figuring it out tonight it was so simple the smart wake is to wake you up before your alarm is set to help you wake up a little better I guess but instead it's just been passing me off for Months lol hope this helps someone

This works!  It's not an alarm that I set intensionally, but most have been activated when I recently set up my Alexa app. Thanks a bunch!!
