I'm not getting notifications from my phone, on my Versa

I bought my new Versa this week and got everything set up. Except, I have never been able to get phone notifications. The rest notification has all never worked on this new device.

 

I've read blogs and have (multiple times) done the following: unpaired/paired devices, turn off/on Bluetooth, checked all of the necessary setting on my phone, and shutdown Versa. No combo of action seems to work and its frustrating!

 

Not sure if this matters, but I passed my Charge 2 to my niece but after I removed/unpaired it to my app.

Hey @DMBHarmony, it is great to see new members around! If you have followed these instructions to pair the notifications on your Versa, but you still not getting them, I'd like you to tell me, which phone are you using? Is it a compatible device? 'Cause if it is not, that could be the the reason why you are not getting notifications. 

 

By the way, thank for taking the time to troubleshoot this.

I have a Samsung S7. I do receive all other notifications

Thanks for your reply @DMBHarmony! Oh! Yes, with the Samsung Galaxy S7 you shouldn't have inconveniences as this is a compatible device with Fitbit products. So let me suggest you something, please make sure that you have the latest version of the Fitbit app installed on your phone. In addition, if you haven't, I'd like you to take a look at this help article: My Fitbit device isn't receiving notifications from my phone

Thanks! I have tried all of those steps several times. To clarify, the issue is that I don't receive notice that I'm getting phone calls but I get all other notifications.

Yes, I updated the system last night. It still doesn't work. It didn't work before and it doesn't work now. This is getting really frustrating! It's difficult to recommend this Fitbit device to others. I had a Charge 2 right before this and it worked perfectly.
