the versa three is not accurate at reading heart rates. It’s been low with just walking and then I just did a high intensity workout where my heart rate was up to 155 and it was reading 120. I never had any issues like this with my versa and other Fitbit’s. I’m not sure how it can be said that it’s more accurate when it’s often ten to thirty beats off from what your actual heart rate is. This is very frustrating and it looks like it is not even sold anymore which now makes sense since there seems to be so many issues with it. I have attempted to get a refund and have gone back and forth with customer service since the week after I got this in august. I was told I could not get a refund and just get a new versa 3. The same issues are happening with the second versa 3. Should have just gotten the 2 instead at the beginning of this. Very disappointing since I’ve told family members and clients over the years how great Fitbit is.

Agree this is a common issue with Versa 3s. Never had an issue with my previous (Ionic?) model.
I have a separate HR monitor to compare the Versa inaccuracies against. FitBit seems very dismissive and resistant to acknowledge or resolve this issue. I’ve been told and seen admin posts in FB forums that “this is expected performance” for vigorous exercise. Running shouldn’t be out of scope for this function to work. Very disappointing and will likely explore other options for next watch.
Definitely cannot recommend purchasing this product if the HR monitor is important to you.
FitBit really should prioritize a firmware update to resolve the issue.
