I just got a versa and have tried running twice on it. I ran on the treadmill today and the treadmill said I ran 1.25 miles in 13 mins at a 10min pace while my versa said I ran .94 miles at a 14 min pace. I was not holding onto the handles on the fitbit. How do I get my fitbit to be more accurate?

Welcome to the Community @Ecrain6078.
Could you please tell me how are you logging your activity, are you selecting it directly from the watch or are you manually logging it? In the meantime, I recommend taking a look at the help article How do I measure and adjust stride length for my Fitbit device? and follow the instructions there, then test your unit.
Hope to hear from you soon.

Hi thank you for your quick reply. I’ve been selecting “treadmill” directly from my watch.

I tried running today and setting my watch as a run excercise. I ran a 10 min mile but my watch recorded it as .77 miles at a 14mim pace. Should I be bringing my phone with when I run for GPS tracking. This does not help on the inaccurate treadmill reading though because I clearly cannot use GPS for a treadmill
