Inoperable Versa 2 and Versa Lite

This is my 2nd fitbit within a year.  The first one stopped working within 4 months.  It will not show evidence of power or charging.  The face is completely black..  The second i have had for 9 months.  Four days ago the screen turned multiple colors as though it was an old television wherein the picture was going bad.  The face is just gray and you are unable to see stats, etc.  The second is a Versa Lite, the first is a Versa2.  Both were gifts from my son and honestly at this point unless I am able to obtain a concrete solution on repair I will not recommend,  nor purchase fitbit again!.  These items are not on the shelves for $5 , but maybe they should be considering.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for trying some troubleshooting steps before posting over here. I understand how frustrating this matter can be for you. Seems odd that both devices are experiencing the same issue, however, can you please let me know if the heart rate sensors of both devices are still flashing or are they completely unresponsive? If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check our help article: Why isn't my battery charging on my Fitbit device? and let me know how it goes. Such article includes a restart process which can be really helpful for this situation

The sensors on the Versa 2 are completely unresponsive. The Versa Lite
the sensors are responsive; however I am unable to see anything on the
screen.
