Inspire and ionic

Hi I have an ionic and have just bought an inspire to wear on a clip when o don’t want to wear the ionic but everytime I try to add the inspire to my acc it deleted the ionic and vice versa. What am I doing wrong

You're not doing anything wrong but you have, unfortunately, found a limitation with fitbit's support for multiple trackers. They say:

 

"Note that you can't connect multiple devices that use the Fitbit App Gallery to one account. For Fitbit Charge 3, Fitbit Ionic, Fitbit Inspire series, and Fitbit Versa series, only connect one of these devices to your account at a time."

I'm afraid there's no way around this limitation. Are you able to return the Inspire?
