Installing FiiT app on Versa 2

Hi, I’ve tried to install the FiiT app on my new Versa 2 which I bought especially as I was told it was compatible. I’ve found it in the app gallery and it says it’s unavailable on this device… what am I doing wrong? I’m on IOS 14.8.1 and my Versa 2 is 70.7.14 and it’s not showing it needs any updates…. Thanks in advance for any help! 😁

Hello @Hlpitman and welcome to the Community forum.  According to this Help article, you don't have the current firmware on your Versa 2, which should be 72.1.15.  As a general rule, you need the current firmware in order to download apps.   If your Versa 2 is brand new, then it has the firmware from when it was manufactured and you should get an update in 24-48 hours.  If your Fitbit isn't brand new, then I think you should contact Support for more help.

Ah brilliant it’s brand new so just assumed it would just come with the latest firmware as there wasn’t an update showing. Maybe I should try being patient and wait for a bit! Thank you for the reply!
