Is Android One compatible with Versa?

Fitbits list of compatible phones is somewhat limited. Is there any reason the Versa wouldn't work with a phone that is part of the Android One program? I've got the new Nokia. It's got all the hardware of some of the phones on the list, but is Android One meaning there isn't any crapware on there either.

@SunsetRunner Yes, the number of Android devices might be limited on the Fitbit Supported devices list but when you consider there are thousands of unique Android devices, each different in various ways, with their manufacturers own take on Android, this is hardly surprising. Granted you’d think that you’d have a better chance with your new Nokia but nothing is a given in the world of Android compatibility.
