I've just been given a versa lite for my bday and it says its waterproof but I'm unsure whether to use it when i go swimming.Does it work in water?Any advice please?

Thank you for your prompt reply! I would like people who have got one and used in the water to give me some feedback if possible.It cost a lot of money so nervous about using it in the water

For clarification, no where does the Versa lite, or any watch from any company will claim waterproof. At some point, they all will fail. The correct term is water resistant to X feet or pressure.
For the Versa it is 150 feet, but this is in absolutely calm water and lowering very slowly.
This generally means no diving into water, no deep swimming. No whirlpools. No swimming in water with a strong current.
Doing a search you will find a few posts of people who have had water issues. My understanding is that the screen is glued on.
Then again we have users that often swim in the ocean
