Hi there. I had a Versa 2 for the last 3 or 4 years (can't really remember) and I was always very happy with it. Recently the battery has started to get wonky, and where I used to only charge it once every few days, now it feel like I have to charge it every night. I never wear it to sleep anyways so that is fine, but it is starting to not last the entire day and that makes it useless to me.
With black friday/christmas coming up, I'm thinking of getting a new one. I read that a lot of people aren't really happy with their fitbits anymore, but I also can't really find any affordable alternatives and the online ratings and tests still seem to be good.
I am also stumped on which one to get. I want to track steps, calories, heartrate, that's the most important. Anything you can recommend me?

I would not be buying a new fitbit atm, I haven't been able to sync mine for two weeks and I'm not getting any nearer it seems despite following all the recommended processes.

Hi @chingu - it seems almost any modern watch will meet your needs, except you will need to limit your choice to one with good battery life or you may still have to charge as frequently (many expensive ones only last a day or so) so first make sure your watch doesn't have a software or settings issue.
Do simple things like a restart (hold the button for 10 seconds), charge fully, remove wifi and turn off phone Bluetooth for a day, even try changing clock face to see if you can isolate the cause.
If moisture has got in it can cause short battery life and overheating when charging which is a sure sign.
Before trying a factory reset, which can fail, especially if not left long enough to complete once started, as a last resort, make a note of the names of any clocks or apps you use, but if you live in the EEA you may not be able to install everything you had before.
If you do decide to get a Fitbit on sale, beware that the current more expensive models (Versa 4 / Sense 2) don't have all the features of the Versa 2 and their watch navigation is somewhat different and less complete.
