Three years ago I purchased the Alta HR for £130 and everything was ok until it had been used for around 15 months and the battery wasn’t lasting more than a day and then it stopped working completely. I tried all the tricks on here and nothing turned it back on.
My partner bought me the special edition versa for Xmas 2018 and the exact same
thing has happened . I’ve even bought another charger to check it wasn’t broken but to no avail. That’s nearly £200 down the drain this time for something that lasts just over a year.
I like to do the Fitbit challenges with friends to keep me motivated which is why I haven’t gone to another brand.
I can’t help but notice there are a lot of posts with the same problem so is this a faulty battery problem or are they only good for a years use? I’m so annoyed at the money wasted.
