Is there a pulse?

I received a Versa 2 as a gift last November (reward for company fitness challenge).  I feel like they wasted their money- the heart rate tracking is terrible!

Ex. Wear it for a 50-60 minute workout (cardio, weights, planks, sit-ups, etc) and it doesn't read higher than 110. (Worn 3-4 fingers width above my wrist, silicon, fabric, or leather bands). Strap it to a bag (an inanimate object) for three hours on a boat- 12k+ steps and 57 cardio minutes!

My beach bag is cute, but it doesn't have a pulse. It shouldn't earn more cardio time than my actual workout.

Hello @SunsetRunner

🤣 Well I can’t clarify if the beach bag is cute without actually seeing it in person but I’ll take your word for it.  I can explain the odd reading of 12k steps on a boat. It your boat is flying and hitting waves rocking the boat continuously it will interpret that constant movement as steps understandably. But the cardio mins is odd for sure. I’d try restarting your Versa 2 since you described wearing your Fitbit correctly during your workouts. Just press and hold down the button on your Versa 2 until you see the Fitbit Logo then release the button. You should feel the Versa 2 vibrate indicating the restart is done. If the problem persist I’d try adjusting the heart rate zone. To do this tap your heart rate tile in the Fitbit App then tap the gear wheel in the top right corner. Look at this great article with more tips about customizing your Heart Rate Zone: https://blog.fitbit.com/max-heart-rate/

😃 Please let me know if this helped answer your question and provided you with a solution.
