Latest Versa update

Since the update the other night my phone is no longer holding the charge. I have had my Fitbit for a about a year and never had an issue with the charge until his last update. Anyone else experienced this problem since the update?

Your welcome, since having the tracker for nearly a year, there may be warranty left.. though it's up to Fitbit to decide. Feel free to contact them from the official support page.

Mention what you've already tried to speed things up.

Thanks, I have contacted them and we are trying to determine a pattern if
there is one. From what I can tell so far when I power it down for the
night it seems to loose a fair amount of power. I am going to try leaving
it on tonight to see what it does. Thanks again for your help.

The same happens to me. My Fitbit Versa it´s one and a half year old and I used to leave it off by nights. It seems Fitbit forgot people like us with this update.

Good to know I am not alone. It was acting glitchy at first and wasn't
keeping a charge during the day very well but now it it seems when I
shut it off it looses battery power, so weird.

I can confirm the bad behavior when you turn the off the Versa. I tried two nights more and with a device with 100% of battery, it lost 50% each night. The only solution at the moment it´s to leave it with the sleep mode by night. In this case I only lose 10% by night. This means you get more than 30% by the day 24 hours for a total of three days of battery life. With the previous off functionality by night I was able to achieve nearly 5 days of battery life.

I don´t understand how the Fitbit people do their Q&A tests before every SW release. This battery bug when the device is turned off it´s so bad that nearly makes the Versa useless.

I hope with their integration with Google they will start to do the things better!

Did you find that when you turned it back on again that you needed to sync
it? I found that if I didn't he time was off on my clock as well.

I have exactly the same issue. It's been a few days since I updated and my Versa has been been draining like rain. It was 100% full charge and within 30 minutes, it has already drained 5%. That never happened before the update.

Yes the same problem with sync after turning off. In this situation the only solution it´s not to turn off the phone ...

Let see if Fitbit do anything for during the next weeks.

Sorry to hear you are having the same issue. Hopefully now that a few more
people are popping up they will come up with a fix for us.

My versa would not sync with my phone after the update which just dawned on me this morning haha. I unpaired it and they re paired it and it seems to be fine. And yes I noticed the battery draining fast also but I do not turn it off.

Hmmmm that is too bad. I had shut it off a couple of times before it
stopped draining all the time. Now it seems like it is only when I power it
off but keeping an eye on it for a few more days to make sure. I was asked
by customer service to charge it and restart it. I am to sync it 5 or 6
times through out the day so they can see if they can establish a pattern?
I was to let it drain down to 0 but I charged it last night when it was at
17 % because I didn't want it dying in the middle of the day. I would try
tracking it like they asked me too and then contact customer service so
maybe they can help you further. Good luck.
