Latest update causing errant HR readings

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

As in, no matter how hard I’m exercising my HR reading won’t register over 100, and I know from experience that’s completely incorrect.

So, “zone minutes” aren’t correct and caloric expenditure readings are also incorrect, as well as basically all HR data — and it started right after the latest update installed yesterday morning.

Seems like this is a common issue. Possibly due to a recent update, it it was working before..

In which case its probably best to inform Fitbit Support directly. They may be able to help you.

Same issue. Had a very angry workout today with a HR of just 90/100 when I was sucking wind and sweating. Yet another update that does nothing but make issues worse. Furious. Makes tracking workouts nigh on impossible. Useless.

Quick update: restarted the watched, and that helped *some*, but still consistently reading anywhere from 10-30 beats low during a workout, and it could be even further off as I’m manually taking my pulse after a given set to compare to the Fitbit reading.

Certainly frustrating and makes you not ever want to install an update for a month after it’s released.

Anyone know if there is a way to uninstall the update as I may as well have a regular watch at this rate given my heart rate was 80 during a hiit workout where I was out of breath and usually am in the 150 zone.

I want rid of the update. Any way pleeeeaae?!?

I wish.

As I said, restarting my watch sort of helped but it still won’t register anything over 110 HR, no matter how hard I push.

Ugh.
