Looking for a replacement part

The little rubber piece that keeps the strap down is coming apart (see picture.) Anyone know how I can get a replacement or have an idea of a hack to keep the strap down when it breaks? I'd rather not have to buy a new band for $50 because of a two cent piece of rubber.

In case nobody else gets you a better answer, you can buy new third-party bands from Amazon for much less.

Honestly, I expected a note from someone at Fitbit saying "Sorry, we'll send you that two cents piece of rubber!" Instead, I got crickets. Well, apart from you.

With an awesome Moody Blues quote in your .sig, from the album "In Search of the Lost Chord," which was one of their best (personally, I think "On the Threshold of a Dream" was better, but that's just my opinion.)

Thanks for your response. Doesn't cheaply solve my problem, but I'll keep it in mind.

Cheaper than what you say would have cost you $50, when you can get one for less than $10.

If you expect a response from Fitbit, your best bet is to contact Fitbit help.  These board are mostly just Fitbit users trying to help other users.  They are occasionally monitored by Fitbit employees, but that might take several more days, especially with the virus upsetting their staffing levels now.

Depending on how long you have had it, you might even be covered under warranty.

I have found those little pieces on Amazon, but sold in bunches that cost about as much as new third-party bands; plus I'm not sure would be able to slip on over strap ends that are wider.

@kewl1   If you are still in your warranty period, Fitbit offers in-warranty band replacement.  See the Support page.

Thanks very much but I'm afraid I am past the Warranty.  I wish there was a way I could just glue it or something.  I did find the little loops on Amazon but you have to buy a whole bunch of them
