Low average steps per day

Hello, I put my fitbit versa on today after not wearing it at all this week and did a little treadmill workout. I got 3,600 steps, went to sync it and I was shocked when I clicked on my profile and saw 'averages 13 steps per day'. Now I'm not sure if this is because this is my first time wearing it this week but with the amount of steps I did today, an average of 13 just doesn't sound right. 

Things I have tried: Unsyncing the versa from the app, uninstalling and re-installing the app and syncing the versa again. Nothing has worked. Not sure if this is a normal thing or if my versa is acting up somehow. Thanks!

@SunsetRunner It's great to see you in our Fitbit Community! I'm sorry to hear that your Versa is not providing accurate steps count.

Since you mentioned that you did your workout on a treadmill, I would like to know if you were holding the bars. The Versa needs arm movements as though you were waling in order to have the steps tracked correctly.

Also, were the 3,600 steps tracked on the treadmill or on the tracker itself?

In the meantime, please restart your Versa as described in this help article. After this, monitor your tracker and see if the steps count is more accurate.
